- when you set new POP3 email, first, Contact your email provider and get its incoming mail server and outgoing mail server (SMTP) credentials.
- Then open outlook2010, select ‘info’ from ‘File’ and then click the "Add Account" link located in the Account Information section. The Auto Account Setup window opens.
- From auto account setup window ,select the "Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types" radio button and then click "Next." The Add New Account window opens.
- There is two fields that is "Your Name" and "Email Address" fields, provide your name and email address.
- From “Account Type" menu, choose "POP3"and then type your provider's server credentials in the "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" fields, respectively.
- Enter your full email address and password under the fields provided in the Logon Information section. Check the "Remember Password" box.
- After completing the all above steps then go to the Deliver Email Messages To section and then select how you would like Outlook 2010 to deliver your incoming emails by choosing one of the radio buttons displayed. Unless you have a backup of a previous Outlook folder configuration, select the default setting by choosing the "New Outlook Data File" radio button.
- Select "Next" and finally choose "Finish." You have successfully added a new email account in Outlook 2010.
