The error 0x800ccc0f in Microsoft Outlook generally occurs when you are trying to send or receive email. The actual error occurs when a connection is dropped.   • Click on "Mail account" from where you are getting error. Then Click on "Properties".
  • Click on "Advance option” and make sure the check boxes in front of "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" is unchecked. If that checkbox is enabled
  • Please uncheck that check box and restart your Outlook Express again.
  • Please check now by sending a test email from that email account.
